2013 Quad X Pro-Am Champion Grant Mitchell |

H&M Motorsports’ Grant Mitchell took his sixth win of the Yamaha Quad X season and secured the Pro Am Championship. Mitchell went 1-1 at the season finale to take both the win and the championship.
Mitchell was in second off the line during moto one. He quickly worked his way into the lead. Once Mitchell had the lead he worked to put space between himself and the rest of the pack. Mitchell was able to hold the lead through the final laps and take the moto win.
“It was a great day. I was feeling good out there. My Maxxis Tires got me out to the front of the pack. My Elka Suspension was flawless and really kept everything smooth,” said Mitchell after the moto.
Moto two went just as well for Mitchell. He was second off the gate and worked to take over the lead. Mitchell was able to hold the lead until the checkers and finish out his day on top.

Mitchell’s 1-1 scorecard gave him both the win and the championship. This is Mitchell’s second Pro-Am championship this season, as the young racer also won the WORCS Pro Am Championship.

“This year has been a dream come true, I’ve won two Pro-Am Championships and it couldn’t have been better. Everything was awesome. I can’t thank my family enough for all their support this year. It’s really just been amazing,” regarded Mitchell.
Mitchell has decided that he will return next season in the Pro- Am class to defend his number one plate. The season should be exciting as Mitchell continues to improve and grow as a racer.
