Somerset, PA (7/7/2008) - After
9 rounds in the books the Instigator Racing Millers
Yamaha Backed rider Greg Condon has 3 podium finishes
and 4 top 5 finishes. Although Greg has been having
some mechanical problems at a few races he has
still managed to pull out good finishes. Standing
6th in the points, and 4th if you start counting
throw away races already, Greg is in good striking
distance for a top 3 position by the end of the
year with a few more good finishes.
This weekend came with great anticipation for
Greg, last year he placed 3rd in class and 8th
overall on the first race with the new Yamaha
Grizzly. Since then we have been testing the machine
with a variety of different components to get
the right combination. Taking the rock sections
out this year, and adding more long straights
and high speed wood sections lends its way to
sport atv’s for the overall positions but
Greg still was able to pull out a 3rd in class
finish.
“It was tough, my power steering unit
overheated for the second race in a row and it
made it very difficult to turn the machine. Even
worse then without power steering.”

Even with these troubles Greg came across the
line 57th overall and only 14 minutes behind the
overall leaders. “It was a fun race, lots
of high speed sections mixed with a few rough
rocky sections. You had to be on the gas all the
time to finish well this weekend”
Going into the summer break on a good note,
we plan on making a few small changes to our program.
Initiating a new work out program along with some
tweaks to the awesome Grizzly we hope Greg Condon
will be able to maintain his great finishes and
stay up front running with the factory backed
riders in his class.
