Unadilla Round 10 Travel Routes
GNCC ATV Racing - Round 10
- New Berlin, NY - September 10, 2011
Morgantown, WV (9/8/2011)
- Due to severe inclement weather in
eastern Pennsylvania and New York, it may be necessary
for GNCC racers and fans to alter driving routes
from the east and south. Flooding situations have
occurred in the New Berlin area, closing roads
south of Unadilla Valley Sports Complex; however,
the situation is expected to peak at approximately
6:00 pm, at which time more information will be
made available concerning alternate routes. Until
then, the best way to access the track is to approach
from the north and west at Syracuse, along I-90,
then south on Route 8. Travelers should avoid
approaching from the east or south/east.
The Unadilla GNCC will run as scheduled this
weekend, unless further announcements are made.
Alternate travel routes will be posted as we gather
more information on the weather conditions.
Fortunately, the racetrack and parking areas
have not been jeopardized by the wet weather.
"The GNCC crew has been working hard all
morning to get everything set up for this weekend's
event. In fact, the track should be in great shape
after the rain we've gotten here this week!"
said Jill Robinson, owner of Unadilla Valley Sports
Complex.
ATVs will compete throughout the day on Saturday,
September 10, with 50cc youth classes beginning
at 2 p.m., and dirt bikes will race all day Sunday,
September 11.
Spectator passes run $15 for the full weekend,
with pro pit access and pro autographs at no additional
charge. On both Saturday and Sunday, youth riders
race at 8 a.m., beginner riders race at 10 a.m.,
and the top amateurs and the pros race at 1 p.m.

races lead as many as 1,800 riders through tracks
ranging in length from 10 to 12 miles, competing
for more than $3 million in prizes. With varied
terrain, including hills, woods, mud, dirt, rocks
and motocross sections, GNCC events are tests
of both survival and speed. For more information,
