GBC Motorsports Racers Win at Dirt Series Round 3
GBC Motorsports' ATV & SxS Racers Earn Four Class Wins

Anaheim, CA (4/24/2014) - GBC Motorsports racers spent their Easter Sunday out at Perris MX for the third round of the 2014 Dirt Series, coming away with four more class victories to tack on to a growing list of racing accomplishments for GBC this season.

UTV Races
Nic Granlund rolled into Perris for his first race of the season and took to the track like he was born to race. Granlund won the premier UTV 1000/Unlimited class, just ahead of fellow racer Tommy Scranton. Tommy bounced back from a tough second round race at Milestone, this time taming the Perris dirt in his Mongrels on the way to a 2nd place finish. This performance pushed Scranton up into third place in the class standings, just behind front runner Cody Bradbury, who put in a 6th place run Sunday. GBC racer Dana Creech finished 4th in the class. Dan Worley and Bryan Carr drove their Carr One/Patridge Motorsports RZRs to  7th and 11th place finishes, respectively.

Carr and company also compete in the UTV Prod 900 class. Bryan dominated the first two rounds and held on to the top spot in the standings despite a 5th place finish in Perris. This round was all about Corbin Leaverton, whose 2nd place finish marked his first podium of the year and bumped him into third in the standings. Dan Worley finished in 4th while teammate Mike Lewis finished 7th.

The UTV Prod 850 class has been all about the Gorman brothers this season, and Round 3 was no different. James followed up his Milestone victory with another win, while Tom followed him across the line in 2nd. The back-to-back wins give James a slight edge in the points after three rounds.

Steve “Wheels” Bucaro has been on fire this season in his Dirt Devil equipped Honda. A win at Perris makes three in a row for Steve, keeping his perfect season intact.

ATV Races
Kory Ellis once again proved that he’s still got what it takes to compete with top talent. Ellis powered his GBC Bomb Squad equipped Yamaha to a 1st place finish, his second victory of the season. He sits firmly atop the 450 Pro standings. Ellis was joined on the podium by fellow GBC rider Darrell Patton, who put in a 2nd place effort.

Craig Bennett represents GBC in the 450 Pro-Am class, and Bennett seems to be improving each round. After starting the season with a 4th place finish, Craig took 2nd in the second round and followed up with his first victory of the year at Perris. His consistent results have him leading the Pro-Am standings.

Another class leader for GBC is Mynor Snow. Mynor finished 4th at Perris but his first round win leaves him with a 1-point advantage in the 450 Intermediate class. Justin Luna holds onto the second spot in the 450 Novice class after a 4th place finish. Bill Markel won the Vet 40+ class for the second straight round and leads the class in points.
