Anaheim, CA (10/3/2012) -The 2012 Yamaha Quad-X Racing Series returned to action this weekend after a break of more than two months. Round 8 took racers out to Speedworld MX in Surprise, Arizona for a special Saturday night race.
GBC Motorsports’ Dylan Dixon has been an up-and-coming star in several racing series this year, and his performance at Speedworld did not disappoint. Dixon battled his way from third to first during the final two laps to secure the victory in the first moto. Dylan then grabbed the second moto holeshot on his Bomb Squad MX tires and completed the sweep after losing and reclaiming the lead.
Dylan Dixon closed within one point of the Pro-Am leader and will fight for the Pro-Am championship during the final two rounds of the series. Round 9 travels to Cahuilla Creek MX in Anza, California on Sunday, October 21st.
