Anaheim, CA (7/18/2012) - It was
a warm and sunny weekend out at Glen Helen Raceway
in San Bernardino, CA for the 6th and 7th rounds
of the 2012 Yamaha Quad-X Racing Series. GBC Motorsports’
Dylan Dixon took on the Pro-Am class competition
as the series moved into the second half of the
season.
GBC’s Dylan Dixon has been steadily building
a solid 2012 racing season and his performances
at Glen Helen have established him as one of the
region’s most talented up-and-coming racers.
Dixon finished 2nd and 6th in Round 6 of the series
for an overall 4th place on Saturday. He fared
even better on Sunday with a 2nd and 3rd place
finish for an overall 2nd place in Round 7.
Dixon’s successful races are partly a byproduct
of his ability to lay down a quick start. Dylan
took the holeshot in the second moto on Saturday
and was among the top 3 starters in all other
motos thanks in part to his GBC Motorsports Bomb
Squad MX tires.
Dixon’s impressive weekend of racing pushes
him within 12 points of the Pro-Am leader as the
series travels to Speedworld MX in Surprise, AZ
for a special Saturday night event on September
29th.
