Ontario, CA (7/20/2011) - The rough
track of Unadilla created plenty of challenges for
racers at round number nine of the 2011 AMA ATV
Motocross Championships, but the GBC Motorsports
team was not deterred as they did their best despite
the rough conditions.
GBC Motorsports’ Travis Moore ran into
issues off the start in moto one after colliding
with Harold Goodman on the start. It took several
seconds to get the pair apart and that sent Moore
to the back of the pack. Moore was able to make
up a few positions and reach thirteenth place
before crossing the finish line.
In the second moto, Moore was again toward the
back off the start, but put the hammer down and
battled his way into ninth place before reaching
the checkered flag. Moore would end his day just
outside of the top ten in eleventh place. Going
into round ten, Moore is currently sitting tenth
in the points race, and could easily take over
ninth at Red Bud if Lady Luck is on his side.

Pro-am racer Nicholas Moser had a bit of bad
luck this weekend as he went 13-15 for 15th overall
in the Pro-am Unlimited class. Moser is still
seventh on points in the class and could move
into sixth before the end of the season.
In the Pro-am Production class, Moser would take
a DNF in moto one and finish 14th in moto two.
Moser is currently ranked eighth on points in
that class and is hoping to improve his standings
before the end of the season.
Round number ten of the 2011 AMA ATV Motocross
Championships will be heading to Red Bud in Buchanan,
MI on July 30th – 31st where GBC Motorsports’
Travis Moore and Nicholas Moser will be trying
for the podium.
