Ontario, CA (5/25/2011) - GBC
Motorsports’ Nick Moser claimed two top five
finishes in the Pro-am Production and Pro-am Unlimited
classes at round number sox of the 2011 AMA ATV
Motocross Championships, while Travis Moore claimed
a top ten finish in the Pro production class.
Steel City in Delmont, PA was the hosting facility
for this round that saw good weather and good
track conditions that allowed GBC Motorsports’
racer to finish well, with Nick Moser leading
the way.
Moser was looking good as he charged his way
off the start in the first Pro-am Unlimited moto.
Moser was in sixth place and charged hard to move
into the number three spot by lap three and hold
his position all the way to the checkered flag.
In moto two, Moser was in fifth off the start
and held down his spot until reaching the checkered
flag. Moser’s 3-5 finishes gave him fourth
overall for the day in the Pro-am Unlimited class.

In the Pro-am Production class, Moser was looking
strong again as he claimed a sixth place finish
in moto one and finished in fifth in moto two,
giving him fifth overall for the day, while Jamen
Davidovich took consistent 7-7 finishes for seventh
overall.
In the Pro ranks, Travis Moore claimed another
top ten finish overall at Steel City, even after
a hard hit in moto two. Moore was in mid pack
off the start in moto one but worked his way up
for a seventh place finish. In the second moto,
Moore’s GBC Bomb Squad MX tires hooked up
great and allowed Moore to get a good start and
move into the number three spot in the first lap.
Moore was able to take over second in lap four
and was looking solid, but unfortunately he came
up short on a jump and fell back. Moore took a
hard hit, but kept his composure and continued
to race, taking an eighth place finish.

“My GBC tires hooked up great out there
and they performed really well. I can’t
wait to get to Millville. I did well there last
year and I really like that track so I am hoping
for a podium finish,” said Moore, who was
on the Pro-am Production podium at Spring Creek
last year.
Round number seven of the 2011 AMA ATV Motocross
Championships will have the GBC Motorsports racers
heading to Spring Creek Motocross in Millville,
MN on June 4th – 5th, where they will be
racing for the podium.
