Kristen Atwell Takes Fifth GNCC Win & Leads

Wins The Titan GNCC Overall

Long Beach, CA (10/1/2010) - Kristen
Atwell dominated the field at the Titan GNCC as
she not only won her class, she would claim the
overall morning victory as well! Kristen has been
virtually unstoppable this season as she has continued
to put her Yamaha on the podium for the seventh
time this season. Kristen once again regains control
of the points battle and her closest competitors
both had trouble at this round giving her a few
points advantage as the season heads towards its
finale.
The 4x4 racers would face some rough conditions
as the dry and rough track pounded their machines.
Scott Kilby would put in a valiant effort and
would secure the third spot in 4x4 Limited. Forrest
Whorton would find success at the Titan as he
claimed the 4x4 Senior class running GBC tires.
Other racers scored excellent finishes including
Andrew Langston who took home the second finishing
position in 4x4 Limited as well as Zach Zakowski
who would over come some mechanical issues but
managed to end the weekend in second place in
the 4x4 Open class.

Pickens put his GBC Motorsports Yamaha
in 7th place after a hard fought race

In the XC1 Pro class, Jeffrey Pickens would put in another solid race, finishing
7th. Pickens has been a consistent racer this season
and feels he can better his program with a little
luck and more hard work. Fellow GBC racer Johnny
Gallagher would have a great run early in the race
but would find trouble and only complete 3 laps.
The season is winding down but the finishing
order is filled with racers putting GBC tires
to the test. The next round of racing will find
our riders in Ohio at the Powerline Park facility.
Dry conditions have been the norm and if that
region doesn't get rain it will be a very dusty
and demanding event. We would like to thank all
of our riders for their hard work and efforts
and wish them well at the next round!
