Watsonville, CA (7/14/2011) -
With FOX Racing Shox Chris Borich returned to
top form at the John Penton GNCC in Millfield,
Ohio this past weekend. The FOX Racing Shox-backed
Suzuki rider emerged the victor with a slight
margin over Taylor Kiser, Brian Wolf and Chris
Bithell.
The foursome of Borich, Bithell, Kiser and
Wolf battled the entire race from start to finish
with Borich squeaking out a three second lead
at the finish line. Chris Bithell led the majority
of the race after Borich was close lined off
of his Suzuki by a low-hanging branch. Bithell
later hit a tree while being chased by Borich
and the rest of the front pack and threw away
the race win, eventually finishing fourth.
Borich made a signature last-lap pass for the
lead and rode off for the victory with a time
of 2:11:55. Taylor Kiser finished second with
a time of 2:11:58 and Brian Wolf logged a time
of 2:12:00.
