LUCAS OIL
"ULTIMATE ATV EXPERIENCE"
AT CRANDON THIS JULY!
Crandon, WI (5/23/06)
– Everyone that enjoys ATV recreation is soon
going to get a chance to play and ride the 400 private
acres at Crandon International Off-Road Raceway, home
of World Championship off-road racing the past 37
years! The weekend is July 21-23, 2006 and if you
are an individual, a family, or ATV club member, this
is the weekend you will want to spend in Crandon,
Wisconsin!
There are more than 310,000 registered
ATV owners in Wisconsin and Crandon Raceway, in cooperation
with Lucas Oil and Fantasy Moto, are giving all of
them the opportunity to bust loose and have the ATV
adventure of 2006! All general admission ticket holders
will have the opportunity to play and ride in one
of several categories including Mud Run, Grass Drags,
Obstacle Course, a new Model Test Area and challenging
trail rides for one weekend price!
Also included in the Ultimate ATV weekend
in the North woods of Wisconsin is spectator viewing
when top ATV racers compete in the Lucas Oil Quad
Run 101 race. Attendees will watch hard-core championship
racers compete all weekend in three ATV disciplines:
Cross Country, TT and Motocross.
The "Lucas Oil Ultimate ATV Experience"
bridges the gap between the recreational rider and
the most experienced racer. It's rare in the action
sports entertainment industry that the general admission
ticket holder is allowed to watch the most elite riders
and at the same event offers participation courses
specifically targeted to the recreational enthusiast.
Even the most devoted race spectators need a diversion
from watching race after race. The "Lucas Oil
Ultimate ATV Experience" entices members of all
ages to jump on their ATV and participate in challenges
built for their skill level. Whether you purchased
your ATV for trail riding, farm use, home use or racing,
this event is more than a race, it's more than a trail
ride.it is the "Lucas Oil Ultimate ATV Experience!"
This fun-filled weekend event will be
packed with ATV opportunities for racers, spectators,
dealers and vendors alike. On hand at the event will
be the Lucas Oil portable oil change station, among
other exhibits.
ATV race events will include a cross-country
race on Saturday, July 21, followed by a TT race (a
cross between motocross and oval racing on a track
featuring both right and left hand corners with one
or two jumps), Saturday evening under the lights.
ATV Motocross will be the final event of the weekend
for the experienced racers. "Champions"
will be crowned in 18 race classes ranging from 50cc
automatic ATVs to the highly modified "Pro Production"
class.
This just wouldn't be considered the
"Lucas Oil Ultimate ATV Experience" without
the addition of Freestyle ATV MX as part of the show!
