Rafael Acurcio Takes the Win at Round 3 - Baja European Championship
Baja European Championship - Round 3 - May 29-30, 2010

Melfi, IT (6/1/2010) - The young portuguese rider of the Italian team Offroadmotors, Rafael Acurcio and his Paoletti 450 won the 22° Baja Puglia Lucania overall class, 3rd race of the European Baja championship. 2nd place for his teammate the spanish Juanluis Gonzales. Italian Offroadmotors team for the second time take all the firsts 3 places in the Q3 European class with the 3rd place of the Italian gentleman driver Giuseppe Cuffaro that win also class Q3 of the Italian championship.

Rafael Acurcio took the 22° Baja Puglia Lucania win in Melfi, Italy this past weekend

Acurcio flight on the top of the European ranking with 134 points, 112 points for the poland Laskaviec, and at the 3rd place with 100 points for Gonzales. Sabine Pulz Win the woman class and finish 9th overall, 4th of Q4 class. "I am happy for all the guys. The atvs not give us any problem and we feel immediatly from the first stage the feeling to control the race in any moment. I'm very sad for Sabine; she do all the race with a problem on a shoulder that give her lots of pains. Now I have a little bit of time to breath and prepare everything well for the Hungarian Baja in August."
