Elk River, MN (5/15/2012) - Always looking to bring something new into the ERX fold, track owners Chris Carlson and Todd Plaisted have teamed up with TerraCross promoter Joe Duncan, and will host the first national TerraCross event in North America this coming June 22 and 23 at ERX.

A terrain race of epic proportions, TerraCross features ATVs and side-by-side vehicles on a motocross type track littered with nasty obstacles including tires, logs, boulders, mud pits, and more. The ERX event will serve as a national qualifier for the TerraCross championships to be held in September during the SnoBarons Haydays World Championship Grass Drags and Swap Meet near North Branch, Minnesota.

The action at ERX will also be broadcast on NBC Sports later this summer as part of a 5-episode series of the fast growing sport. Plus, after the National event concludes, a TerraCross class will become a regular Thursday night fixture during the summer Beater-X series.
