Duncan Racing's Lucas Oil Off Road Modified Kart Champion Mitchell DeJong

Santee, CA (11/26/2010) - Temecula,California's Mitchell DeJong won the 2010 Lucas Off Road Modified Kart Championship. Dejong driving for Speed Technologies used a Duncan Racing International Yamaha YFZ 450R prepared engine equipped with a Fat Boy 4 Exhaust System and a Vortex X10 ECU to win the Nations top title in Off Road Kart Racing.

Mitchell, an off road super star in the making, was fairly dominant all year putting his Duncan Racing powered kart on the podium 9 out of 14 races allowing him to lock up the Championship with an insurmountable 56 point lead with 1 race left on the schedule.

Mitchell had very high praise for his entire race program knowing each race he was driving arguably the best kart (Dejong Chassis/Fox Shocks) in the event. Mitchell had especially high praise for the Vortex X10 Engine Control Unit. He felt the ECU allowed him to drive the kart harder lower his lap times.
