Casar, NC (3/17/2011) - Rounds
one and two of the GNCC series were good to the
DeRisi Racing crew. The new pit setup, wrapped
trailer, and the overall running of the DeRisi
Racing Team has turned some heads over the past
two weeks. “Being able to show our sponsors
how dedicated we are and how much it means to
promote their products means a ton to me. If nothing
else, our sponsors will be supported to the best
of my ability” said Santo DeRisi, Owner
of DeRisi Racing Inc.
DeRisi rider Eric Hoyland has had his own share
of success, grabbing the hole shot in Florida
which led him to a third place podium finish.
He currently holds down fourth in the XC2 ProAm
point standing’s which is a great start
to the season in such a highly competitive class.
“I am proud of Eric; he has shown he has
the capability to run up front. We had a mishap
in Georgia on the start but he was able to regroup
and charge forward which allowed him to come away
with a solid finish” says DeRisi.

In addition, DeRisi rider David Reeves of the
Junior A class was able to have an extremely strong
race in Florida, earning second. Georgia was not
as kind; he unfortunately ran into trouble with
his axle bearings which forced him to end his
day early. All in all, David currently sits in
eighth place in the Junior A class. “David
had a great race in Florida and unfortunately
we had issues with his axle in Georgia, but I
am confident he will be back up front in round
three” said DeRisi.
The second Junior A rider of DeRisi Racing, Luke
Reeves, also had an impressive start to the 2011
GNCC season nailing a sixth place finish in the
sands of Florida followed by a fourth place finish
in Georgia. This gives Luke the third place spot
in the Junior A points standing’s. “Luke
really rode consistent the past two rounds and
it paid off for him. I foresee him being a contender
for a top five finish in each event this year”
said DeRisi.
“We are truly looking forward to the rest
of the year; we are excited about a few things
we are working on such as an addition of a flat
screen which will be mounted on our trailer. It
will allow us to watch racing video’s, and
break out the Xbox. Look for a press release in
the near future on DeRisi Racing sponsored Xbox
tournaments. It is going to be a fun year!”
said DeRisi “I honestly cannot thank our
supporters enough; Rath Racing, Fox Shox, GBC
Tires, IMS Products, HMF, HiPer Technology, GPR,
Fasst Co, DC Cycle, Wiseco, Maier, Twin Air, DP
Brakes, G4 Graphics, PowerMadd, Motion Pro, Quad
