Christy Racing Pulls Double Podiums at the SCORE San Felipe 250

California (3/19/2010) - Defending 2009 Score Overall ATV Champions, Team Christy Racing started off their 2010 campaign by putting not one but two of their Duncan Racing prepared Honda TRX450R's on the podium in the San Felipe 250 this past weekend.

The Team Christy Class 25 entry finished in 3rd place behind the Honda 700XX machines of Wayne Matlock and Mike Cafro. Ridden by New Mexico's Dave Scott, GNCC and OMA Pro Andy Lagzdins, Worcs Pro-Am sensation Cody Mitchell, and team owner Craig Christy, the Roll Design and Elka suspended 4a quad kept pace with the 700cc competition in the team's first foray into the open class.

Utilizing basically the same proven 450-based setup that won the Score Championship last year, Christy's team finished the demanding course without changing an air filter and without having to change a single ultra-reliable ITP Holeshot XCT tire.

Having won the class 24 championship the last two years, Team Christy has extensive experience with the 450cc Hondas. Duncan Racing has perfected their National motor kit to make maximum power without sacrificing reliability.

The 100a entry was piloted by Steve Abrego, Jason Wade, Joe Bernal, and Paul Velasquez, putting in a consistent ride to extend the team's podium streak, which began over two years ago. Only a rear shock setup issue kept the 100a quad from claiming the top step of the podium, as it has done so many times in the past.

Team Christy has long been considered the mostwell-supported ATV race team in terms of volunteer logistics crews, and no less than 30 chasers and mechanics made it possible for Christy's to field two top-notch teams in the most demanding ATV racing series in the world.
