BRP Can-Am WPSA Race Team Set to Win
Team includes GNCC champions Chris Borich and Scott Kilby

Valcourt, Canada (5/2/2007) - BRP presents its 2007 World Powersports Association racing team. This year’s team includes Grand National Cross Country champions Chris Borich and Scott Kilby. Both racers will compete in the QuadTerrain Challenge (QTC) Pro Stock division aboard Can-Am™ OutlanderTM 650 H.O. EFI ATVs. Borich will be competing in select events that do not interfere with GNCC race weekends.

“We are extremely pleased to have a group of racers that are committed to winning races and championships on Can-Am ATVs for BRP,” commented Bernard Guy, ATV marketing director, BRP. “With the addition of Chris Borich, our team now boasts some of the best off-road ATV racers in recent memory. The WPSA QuadTerrain Challenge is a wonderful way to showcase both the talent of our team and the capability of the Outlander 650 H.O. EFI ATV.”

The team will race out of the Warnert Racing/Can-Am semi at WPSA events throughout the country. Each team member will pilot an Outlander 650 H.O. EFI ATV in the Pro Stock class of the QTC. There are a total of five racers on the team, they are:

Tony Baker – Baker hails from Southern California and is a veteran desert racer with numerous wins and multiple Baja podiums. This is his first year competing in the WPSA QTC.

Chris Borich – GNCC veteran Chris Borich is no stranger to ATV racing. At 24, Borich has been a mainstay atop the GNCC Pro podium and currently leads the 2007 points championship over seven-time GNCC Pro-class champion, Bill Ballance.

Scott Kilby – Utility Pro Scott Kilby just missed taking the inaugural QTC championship last year and returns to the circuit prepared to win a championship for the Can-Am team in 2007. His five podium finishes including two wins last year were a good building block for success this year.

Brock Parker – Parker will also race an Outlander 650 H.O. EFI in the Pro Stock class, but a recent injury will keep him sidelined for a few WPSA rounds. Parker had three podium finishes, including a win for the 2006 QTC season and looks forward to doing the same as soon as he is healthy.

Adam Vaughn – London, KY’s Adam Vaughn finished seventh overall with a podium in last year’s QTC Pro Stock class. This year he is aboard a new machine and looks to improve on his success last year.

The next appearance of the Warnert Racing/Can-Am WPSA team will be May 11-13, 2007 in Taylorville, IL. Borich’s first WPSA appearance on a Can-Am ATV will be at the Southwestern National in Stillwater, OK, the weekend of June 2-3, 2007.
