/ Can-Am's Team Takes 2nd Place at the
Pont de Vaux

France (8/25/2010) - This weekend
took place the mythical race of the 12 Hours of
Pont de Vaux.
The Can-Am / Motoworks’ Team finshed in
second place after a fierce race against 108 other
teams from start to finish.
Our pilots, straight from the U.S., Jeremie Warnia,
Josh Frederick and Dillon
Zimmerman shared the handlebars of their DS 450X
MX prepared by Motoworks. Racing under the Bib No.
10, they finished 3rd in the first session of the
race without encountering any troubles as our pilots
demonstrated a unparalleled tenacity and consistency
from the start.
The second session took place at night for five
hours, which was challenging for Can-Am / Motoworks
team. Soon after the start, Dillon Zimmerman was
struck from behind on his DS450 X MX, which forced
him back to the pits to replace a damaged exhaust
causing the team to lose precious seconds.
Jeremie Warnia showed his exceptional talent
as he took over for Zimmerman after the pit stop,
and charged from the 18th position to recapture
lost time before handing off the DS450 to Josh
Frederick. Frederick continued the advance through
the field to finish the session in 6th place and
3rd overall with both sessions combined.
In the final session, the competition was at
its highest as Jeremia Warnia excelled to secure
the fastest lap time of 3 minutes and 3 seconds!
The
DS 450 X mx demonstrated remarkable efficiency
and reliability under these extreme conditions.
The Can-Am / Motoworks team secured the final
session win, which moved them up to second overall.
We are very proud of our pilot’s Jeremie
Warnia, Josh Frederick and
Dillon Zimmerman, as well as the reliability and
speed demonstrated by the DS 450X mx. The quad
suffered no technical problem and has shown a
remarkable endurance in extreme conditions.
