Harris - Can-Am DS450 ATV Motocross Racer

Cedarville, IL (6/20/2013) –
Shorty after the 2013 season began, Can-Am rider
Zach Harris sustained a lower back injury while
preparing for the season. A harsh landing and small
get off resulted in a fractured L3 vertebrae and
a ruptured disk. After six weeks of therapy and
rest, Harris was able to start riding with less
than two weeks before the Sunset Ridge ATV National.
With only a few rides on the season, Zach Harris
piloted his BCS Performance powered DS450 to a
2nd overall in both the 4 Stroke A and Open A
classes along with a holeshot. Harris had this
to say about his first race back “I was
anxious to get back racing after a disappointing
first part of the season. My DS450 was working
amazing on the rough Sunset Ridge track and my
Fox Shox were spot on.”
Less than a week after the Sunset Ridge National,
the 313 Can-Am headed to Cedar Rapids, IA to compete
in a District 22 Can-Am backed race. The night
started off great as Harris was able to pull all
four holeshots and win both overalls in dominating
fashion over a quick field. “We are really
starting to get the ball rolling and get back
in the swing of things. My DS450 is working great
and can’t wait for the next few races”
