Huntsville, TN (8/24/2012) -
2012 For the fourth year in a row, Brimstone Recreation
will be hosting the SXS & ATV Roundup brought
to you by YAMAHA. Last year, the event hosted
the largest crowd in the park’s history
at that time, and is expected to bring riders
in from all over the world again in 2012. The
SXS/ATV Roundup kicks off on Friday, August 31,
2012, with easy, moderate, and difficult Guided
Rides sponsored by EBC Brakes.
The guided rides will be led by local trail
masters. There will also be a Show and Shine
on Friday followed by a “meet and greet”
and Jumbotron drive-in movie at the Yamaha Event
Area. The night will be brought to an end with
the Sled Pull and Ritchie Brother’s ultimate
“Dueling Drag Race” under the Southern
lights of the Half Cabin event arena.
Saturday’s competitive events throttle
up starting off with Pole Bending, Obstacle
Course, Ladies Dash For Cash and Mud Bogs. On
Saturday, we will also be joined by Brian Fisher,
host of Fisher’s ATV World, as the KEEPIN’
IT REAL TOUR rolls into town. Brimstone and
Fisher’s have partnered up this year and
will work closely to help promote our industry
and bring folks into our park and the great
state of Tennessee.
When you think that you and the kids have seen
it all—sled pulls, drag races, mud bogs--again
and again, here's a new twist to the 2012 SXS/ATV
Roundup lineup: Mud Surfing. Action and adrenaline…
with mud at no extra charge! Take the challenge
and see who can stay on the board the longest.
There is also a Kid Zone, to ensure that riders
of all ages have a memorable time. Saturday
night will be capped off with a live concert
by Justin Moore and Dustin Lynch at the Half
Cabin Event area.
Sunday promises to be an action-packed day
with the King of the Mountain endurance challenge
and the Moonshine Run. The King of the Mountain
Endurance challenge is by far the most entertaining
event of the weekend. The KOTM proves to be
the toughest SXS and ATV race in the country.
The course, built by hard-core racers for hard-core
racers, will push all racers to a level that
they never thought was possible. It challenges
the most experienced riders with extreme obstacles.
The Moonshine Run, which will be held after
dark, will bring the event to a close on Sunday
evening. And don’t forget the manufacturer
demo area where you can get a feel for the latest
machines from Can-Am.
Brimstone is so excited to be once again teaming
up with YAMAHA, GBC Motorsports, Can-AM, Grand
Vista Hotels and Suites, and Super ATV to make
this event possible.
