New Berlin, NY (7/16/2014) - Can-Am / BCS Performance’s Josh Creamer claimed fourth at the NYCM Insurance Northeastern ATV National held at Unadilla this weekend while Ronnie Higgerson finished inside the top ten.

Good weather was on tap for the weekend and track conditions were good, but did get a little rough throughout the day. The rough conditions didn’t stop Josh Creamer from putting in two solid motos and finishing inside the top five.

In the first Pro moto, Josh Creamer was looking good off the start and running in the top three, but unfortunately he ran into issues at the midway point. “I had a decent start in the first moto and was running in the top three, but somehow I ended up cutting a tire and that kind of set me back a bit, explained Creamer, who took a sixth place finish.

Moto two went much better for Creamer as he grabbed the holeshot and led for several laps. Creamer was soon under fire and did his best to hold off the competition and finished in third, which gave him fourth overall for the day.

“Moto two went great. I grabbed the holeshot and led for several laps. I ended up finishing third in moto two, but I got fourth overall, so not too bad. My Can-Am was running great. BCS has done a great job. The quad has so much power and the FOX shocks handled great out there,” said Creamer.

Ronnie Higgerson was in mid-pack off the start in the first Pro moto and after getting pushed around in a few corners, he fell back to 12th place. Higgerson charged forward and worked his way back to 8th place before crossing the finish line. For the second moto, Higgerson started out in 8th place and held his position from start to finish, taking 8th place once again.  Higgerson’s 8-8 finishes put him in 7th overall in the pro class.

Higgerson was hoping for better results in Sunday’s Pro-am class, but unfortunately he ran into issues and finished in 15th place overall. However, Higgerson is still holds the points lead in the Pro-am class and has no intension of letting that lead go.

“I was able to salvage points in the Pro class but I had some issues in Pro-am this weekend. I am going to be going home and training hard so we can come back and do better at Red Bud. I’m still leading in points in Pro-am and I would really like to bring home that championship,” said Higgerson.
