Josh Creamer finished 6-4 at Steel City ATV Motocross to earn fifth Overall

West Springfield, MA (7/9/2013) - BCS Performance / ITP Tire’s Josh Creamer finished fifth at the seventh round of the Mtn. Dew AMA ATV Motocross National Championship. Creamer went 6-4 at Steel City to secure a top five finish.

Creamer put his Can-Am DS 450 on the line in moto one and gained a solid start; he was quickly battling with the front-runners. Creamer was in fourth until lap seven when he was made the pass to take over the third spot. Creamer began to charge for the front-runners when a rock hit his ignition switch, shutting down his Can-Am. It took Creamer a few seconds to figure out what went wrong. He was able to get the quad fired again and return to the racing action, and went on to finish in the sixth spot in moto one.

“The rock and the key was just bad luck. It could have been a whole different weekend if that wouldn’t have happened,” regarded Creamer after moto one.

Creamer got another good start in moto two. He quickly got into a heated battle for the fourth spot, but he was able to secure the spot for good in lap seven, which he held to the checkered flag for a top five overall finish.

“The Can-Am worked well today. Jay from BCS did an awesome job on my motor; we really had a lot more power. I’ll be back and looking for success next week ,” said Creamer.

Creamer is currently ranked third in the AMA Pro ATV class. There are just three rounds left and round 8 at Unadilla is this weekend on July 13th in New Berlin, New York, and Creamer is aiming for a podium finish at the closest race of the year to his hometown, so he will have plenty of New England fans and family cheering him on in New York.
