West Springfield, MA (10/12/2011)
– BCS Performance’s Cody Miller put
in a solid effort all season long and claimed third
overall in the Pro and Pro-am points championships
even after an injury kept him from racing at the
final round of the 2011 New England ATV Motocross
Series this past weekend.
Hemonds MX in Minot, ME was the hosting facility
for the final round of the season that saw great
weather and great track conditions that were ideal
for the last race of the year. All season long
the series was plagued by rain and muddy conditions
so BCS Performance’s Cody Miller was very
much looking forward to racing on a dry track
and getting in one last podium finish, but unfortunately,
that would not happen for Miller.
During Saturday’s practice, Miller was
looking strong and fast as he made his way around
the course. Unfortunately, Miller’s practice
and season was cut short after crashing on a double.
“I got sideways when I came off the jump
and I knew I was going to crash. When I came off
the quad, I put my hand out to brace my fall and
ended up possibly fracturing my wrist,”
said Miller.

“It’s not really the way I wanted
to end the season. BCS Performance has done a
lot for me and I really wanted to put them on
the podium one last time. I have to thank Jason
and all of the BCS Performance crew for everything
they have done to help me have a successful season,”
Miller added.
With Miller out of commission for the last round,
Canadian racer, Jasmin Plante, agreed to step
up and represent BCS Performance in the Pro-am
class and finished in a respectable third place,
putting BCS Performance on the Pro-am podium.
Plante, who is trying to decide what quad he will
run for the 2012 season jumped at the opportunity
to get a leg over one of the BCS built quads and
had a great time in the process.

“I am not sure what I am doing for next
season yet, so it was a good opportunity for me.
I really liked the BCS Can-Am. It is a very fast
quad and I was happy to be on the podium with
it,” said Plante.
Although the 2011 New England ATV Motocross Series
has come to an end, the BCS Performance team will
still be working hard to make sure that they are
in a position to dominate for the upcoming 2012
season.
