West Springfield, MA (8/29/2011)
– BCS Performance’s Cody Miller put
in a consistent run at Englishtown New Jersey and
found his way to the podium in both the Pro and
Pro-am classes at round number nine of the 2011
New England ATV Motocross Series.
It was a wet one for racers at Raceway Park as
rain fell the night before races were to begin,
creating a lot of mud for Sunday’s racing,
but Cody Miller didn’t seem to mind as he
made a hard charge for the podium.
In the first Pro moto, Miller was in third off
the start and stayed close to the leaders. Miller
pushed hard, but the muddy conditions made passing
difficult and he would settle in for a third place
finish. In the second moto, Miller was right on
Josh Creamer’s heels off the start and connected
with Creamer, sending Miller off the track momentarily.
Miller rebounded and would take another third
place finish, giving him third overall on the
Pro podium.

After connecting
with Can-Am Teammate Josh Creamer, Miller
made his way threw the muddy conditions
to take third overall in the Pro Class
|
“Josh and I bumped off the start in the
second moto and that put me off the track, but
I got back into third and was able to finish on
the podium, so I’m happy about that,”
said Miller.
In the Pro-am class, Miller and Creamer connected
off the start in the first moto, putting Miller
back a couple of positions. Miller was able to
remount a charge and worked back up to fourth
place before crossing the finish line. In the
second moto, Miller was in second off the start
behind Josh Creamer and was looking good, but
fell back when Dustin Wimmer got around him. Miller
would hang on for a third place finish, giving
him third overall on the Pro-am podium.

Miller has
been consistent all season aboard his
BCS Performance Can-Am DS 450 ATV earning
him third overall in both Pro & Pro-Am
classes
|
Miller is currently in third in points in both the
Pro and Pro-am classes and is pretty happy with
where he is at. We knew it was going to be a little
tougher this year, and our goal was to be in the
top three and that’s exactly where I’m
at,” said Miller.
Round number ten of the 2011 New England ATV
Motocross Series will head to Hurricane Hills
in Clifford, PA on September 4th for the second
time this season where BCS Performance’s
Cody Miller will be going for the podium.
