West Springfield, MA (7/13/2011)
– BCS Performance’s Cody Miller ran
four consistent motos at round number six of the
2011 New England ATV Motocross Series and went to
the podium in both the Pro and Pro-am classes.
The weather was good at Hemond’s Moto X
Park in Minot, ME and that helped BCS Performance’s
Cody Miller put in solid motos and find his way
to the podium.
In the first Pro moto, Miller was in fourth place
off the start right behind Jasmin Plante. Miller
charged hard and pressured Plante, getting past
him early in the first lap. From there Miller
rode his own race and was unchallenged all the
way to the checkered flag to take a third place
finish. In the second moto, Miller was in third
off the start and was holding off Plante, but
Miller bobbled late in the moto and Plante was
able to slip by, leaving Miller to settle for
fourth. Miller’s strong 3-4 finishes earned
him third overall on the Pro podium.

“My goal has been to put BCS Performance
on the podium every round and I have been doing
my best to make that happen,” said Miller.
In the Pro-am class, Cody Miller grabbed the
holeshot and led until Josh Creamer and Dustin
Wimmer got by. Miller held his position and rode
a solid race to take a third place finish. In
the second Pro-am moto, the battle was on as Miller
was in second off the start right behind Josh
Creamer and with Dustin Wimmer in tow.
“All three of us were really close off
the start. Wimmer was pressuring me, but I held
him of for a long time,” said Miller.
Miller and Wimmer battled for almost the entire
moto, but Wimmer was able to make the pass in
the final lap and Miller would settle in for third.
Miller’s 3-3 finishes gave him the final
spot on the Pro-am podium.
“It was a good race and I had a good time
out there. I am looking forward to the next round
at Southwick. I’ve done well there in the
past and I’m hoping for another podium at
the next round,” stated Miller.
Round seven of the 2011 New England ATV Motocross
Series will head to MX 338 in Southwick, MA, where
the sandy soil is notorious for taking its toll
on riders and their machines, but Cody Miller
is confident he can conquer the track and put
BCS Performance on the podium once again.
