BCS Performance's Cody Miller won both Open Pro and Open Pro-Am Championship

West Springfield, MA (10/15/2010) - BCS Performance’s Cody Miller put in a solid run at the final round of the 2010 New England ATV Motocross Series, making his way to the Pro podium and taking both the Pro and Pro-am Championships.

Hemond MX Park in Minot, Maine was the hosting facility where great weather and a great track were on hand for the final round of the 2010 New England ATV Motocross series. The track offered several big jumps, a whoops section and plenty of opportunities for passing, which made things interesting for racers and spectators alike.

Cody Miller had the track dialed in and was ready to go even though he was still recovering from his wreck at Montreal Supercross last week. Miller was third off the start in the first Pro moto and knew he only needed to finish in order to secure the championship, so Miller played it smart and held down the number three spot all the way to the checkered flag to taking the Pro Championship. In the second moto, Miller was in a heated battle with Jasmin Plante and Joe Haavisto, but would hold on for another third place finish, giving him third overall for the day. “It felt good to end the season on the podium and I hope I continue that momentum over to next season,” stated Miller.

In the Pro-am class, Miller was in a bit of a tighter spot in the points battle, but Miller stayed consistent and rode a smart race, which allowed him to go 3-4 for fourth overall for the day. Miller’s fourth place finish also gave him a seven point lead in the championship points, to give him the Pro-am championship as well.

“I’m really happy to be able to give Can-Am and BCS Performance a dual championship. We have all worked really hard this year and it feels really good to see it pay off. BCS put together an awesome quad for me and I can’t thank everyone enough for all of their support this year,” said Miller.
