West Springfield, MA (8/19/2010)
- BCS Performance’s Cody Miller made his way
to the top of the Pro-am podium at round nine of
the 2010 New England ATV Motocross Series and would
also make the podium in the Open Pro class as well,
increasing his points lead as he goes for the championship.
Hemonds MX in Minot, ME was the hosting facility
for round nine and featured a sort of sandy track
and long lap times of almost three minutes, but
Cody Miller didn’t seem to mind one bit
as he charged off the line in moto one of the
Pro-am class.

Sunday Practice at Hemonds MX - the duo
both finished in the top 5 in both the
Pro & Pro-Am classes

Miller was in third off the line and held that
spot from start to finish, but in moto two, Miller
was on fire as he took an early lead and checked
out on the competition to take the moto two win.
Miller’s 3-1 finishes were enough to give
him the overall Pro-am win.
“I felt really great out there. The Can-Am
was running great and I was able to get good starts,
which really helped me take the win,” said
Miller.
In the Open Pro class Miller was in third off
the start in the first moto and held his position
despite pressure from Joe Haavisto and took a
solid third place finish. In the second moto,
Miller got off to a third place start once again
and was gaining ground on Michael Pilotte, who
was in second, but a flat tire would slow him
down a bit and leave him with another third place
finish. However his 3-3 finishes were enough to
secure third overall and hang on to his Pro points
lead.

BCS Performance's
Myles Santaniello had a good weekend in
Maine finishing 5th place in both the
Pro & Pro-Am classes
|
“I was doing great out there, but then I hit a huge rock and got a flat,
so that slowed me up a little, but I didn’t
give up and was able to finish on the podium,”
stated Miller.
Myles Santaniello was looking solid as he secured
two top five overall positions in both the Pro
and Pro-Am classes and is in the top ten overall
in points for those classes as well.
Round number ten of the 2010 New England ATV
Motocross Series will head Jolly Roger in Lempster,
NH on September 5th, which is a favorite facility
of many racer and is also where Cody Miller took
the win on both the Pro and Pro-am classes at
round two earlier this season and is looking for
a repeat performance.
