West Springfield, MA (6/17/2010)
- BCS Performance’s Cody Miller still holds
down the Open Pro and Pro-am points leads after
round five of the New England ATV Motocross Series
despite some tough competition.
Cody Miller came on strong in the first Open
Pro moto and battled with Jasmin Plante before
taking the moto one win. In moto two, Miller was
in second off the line, but was pushed off the
track in the first turn. Miller fell back but
worked his way to the number three spot where
he once again found himself doing battle with
Jasmin Plante.
Unfortunately Miller and Plante would connect
and Miller would crash, but he would come back
to finish in sixth place giving him fourth overall
for the day. Although he had to settle for fourth,
Miller still maintains a healthy points lead in
the Pro class.
“I had some bad luck in moto two, but I
still had a decent finish. I plan to be back on
the podium next round because I really want to
keep that points lead and give BCS a championship,”
said Miller.
In the Pro-am class, Miller went down hard in
the first turn off the start, but he managed to
get back up and keep going. Despite his crash
Miller would finish within the top ten with an
eighth place for the first moto.
In the second moto, Miller came back strong,
coming off the line in second place behind Jasmin
Plante. Miller would follow Plante until the final
lap when he would make his move for the lead and
take the moto two win. Miller’s 8-1 finishes
would give him fourth overall, but still allow
him to hold on to his points lead.

#44 Myles
Santaniello went 6-8 & grabbed 7th
place overall in the Pro class while in
the Pro-Am ranks he went 9-7 to take home
6th overall

Myles Santaniello, who is back from injury, but
still not at 100%, was looking stronger as he
would take solid 6-8 finishes in the Open Pro
class for seventh overall and his 9-7 finishes
in Open Pro-am would earn him sixth overall.
“We have a two week break between rounds
now so the team is going to be training hard.
Cody has the points lead so we are really happy
about that and Myles should be back strong at
round six,” stated team manager Jason Brazee.
Round six of the New England ATV Motocross Series
will have the BCS Performance team heading to
Lyman, ME where MX207 will play host on June 27th
as Cody Miller and Myles Santaniello go for the
tops of the Pro and Pro-Am podiums.
