West Springfield, MA (5/5/2010)
- After the terrible conditions at round one of
the New England ATV Motocross Series, BCS Performance’s
Cody Miller came on strong in round two to dominate
the Open Pro and Pro-am classes, winning three motos
and taking both overall victories.
In the first Open Pro moto, Miller charged off
the line and took an early lead. Once out front,
the number 22 Can-Am DS450 checked out on the
competition, taking over a 12 second lead at the
checkered flag. Miller would go on for a repeat
performance in the second moto to take the moto
two win and the overall Open Pro win. “The
track was pretty much a high speed track and BCS
Performance has built a great bike because I was
able to pull away from everyone out there,”
Miller stated.

Miller’s great run didn’t end with
the Open Pro class wins either. Miller also put
on a hard charge in the Open Pro-am class as well.
Miller would battle hard with Richard Pelchat
in the first moto and would take a second place
finish, but in moto two, Miller showed that his
dominance in the Pro class was no fluke as he
flew off the line to take another early lead and
finish several seconds ahead of the competition.
“I had a great weekend! Everything went
so much better than at round one. The weather
was perfect, the track was perfect and my quad
ran perfect,” said Miller.
“Cody did a great job out there and I couldn’t
be happier,” said BCS Performance’s
Jason Brazee. “We brought Cody on board
to win a championship, and after this weekend,
he has definitely proved he has what it takes
to get the job done.”

BCS Performance riders #50 Ralle
Rooke and #44 Myles Santaniello were both
involved in a crash at Round Two, causing
both to suffer from injuries

Although Miller had a great weekend, Things did
not go as smoothly for his teammates Ralle Rookey
and Myles Santaniello. Both riders were involved
in a horrible crash that took them both out of
commission. Rookey would suffer two broken collar
bones from the incident and is expected to be
out for five to six weeks while Santaniello injured
his knee and wrist, but is expected to be back
in action a lot sooner than Rookey. “It’s
really unfortunate for Ralle and Myles. They are
both great riders and have a lot of potential.
We are just hoping that they both make full and
speedy recoveries,” stated Brazee.
Round three of the New England ATV Motocross
Series will head to MX207 in Lyman, ME on May
15th – 16th where Cody Miller will go for
another set of wins and try to take over the points
lead.
