- BCS Performance’s Cody Miller came on strong
at the 2010 Montreal Supercross to claim a spot
on the podium even after a horrific wreck during
the heat races, which left him battered and bruised.
In previous years, quads would usually run a
somewhat tamed down version of the course the
bikes would run at the annual Montreal Supercross
race, which is held in Olympic Stadium in Montreal
Canada, but this year, quads were running the
exact same track as the bikes, which was a full
blown Supercross setup. “The jumps were
real peaky and there were really bad ruts from
the dirt bikes,” said 2007 winner, Cody
Miller.
As the Pro ATV class came off the start in the
first heat race, BCS Performance’s Cody
Miller was in a strong third place and was gaining
ground on Chad Wienen, who was in second, but
Miller would end up crashing on a step-on/step-off
type jump. Miller’s crash left him with
injuries to his right leg and damage to his quad
that caused him to DNF in the heat race.

Despite is injuries, Miller was determined to
race and even though he would have to start in
the second row, he came off the line in a solid
seventh and quickly began working is way up. Miller
would make his way into the number four position
after just two laps and began to chase down Bobby
Desjardins, who was in third. In the final lap,
Miller pressured Desjardins and took over the
number three spot, giving him third place on the
Pro podium.
“The Montreal Supercross is a great event
and I look forward to it every year. This year
was a little tougher for me because of my wreck,
but I still finished on the podium and I am happy
about that,” stated Miller.
Now that the Montreal Supercross is over, BCS
Performance and Cody Miller will be focusing on
the final round of New England ATV Motocross Series
where Miller is in a prime position to take dual
Pro and Pro-am championships.
