The weather was good for the next to last round
of the season and track conditions were favorable,
but did get somewhat rough as the day wore on,
but that was not a problem for Josh Upperman
as he was more than ready.

Josh Upperman had a good start in the first
moto in the number three spot. Upperman held
his position for several laps but came under
fire and dropped back to fourth. Upperman rode
a solid race and held off several attempts from
his challengers and claimed fourth at the checkered
                                  flag.
For moto two, Upperman did what he is known
for and grabbed the holeshot. Upperman led for
several laps, holding off several challenges
before he fell back to second place. Once in
second Upperman stayed close to the leader and
held his ground for a second place finish. Upperman’s
efforts gave him his best overall finish of
the season in second place on the pro podium.

“It was a tough race and the track was
getting pretty rough, but I felt good out there
and I was able to get on the podium. I have
been training really hard and it paid off. I
have to thank Baldwin Motorsports, PEP and all
of our sponsors for helping me be on the podium
