                                        Baldwin Motorsports' Josh Upperman placed 
                                        third overall at Sunday Creek |

                                - Baldwin Motorsports’ Josh 
                                Upperman gave an incredible performance in the 
                                rough and choppy dirt at Sunday Creek Raceway 
                                and claimed the number three spot on the podium 
                                in his home state at round number seven of the 
                                2012 AMA ATV Motocross Championships.
Sunday Creek has always been good to Josh Upperman, 
                                  and the home state favorite did not disappoint 
                                  as he charged his way to the podium in the heat 
                                  and rough conditions. 
                                Upperman had a good start in the number three 
                                  spot for the first pro moto and held his ground 
                                  for two laps before falling back to fourth, 
                                  but was able to hold off the competition and 
                                  take the number four spot all the way to the

                                For the second moto, Josh Upperman was on a 
                                  mission to put Baldwin Motorsports on the podium 
                                  and charged off the start in third. Upperman 
                                  was right on the number two rider and pressure 
                                  his for a couple of laps before he made his 
                                  move and took over second place. Upperman held 
                                  his position for several laps before coming 
                                  under pressure himself. Upperman battled hard 
                                  and would take third at the checkered flag. 
                                  Upperman’s solid 4-3 finishes gave him 
                                  the final spot on the pro podium.
                                “I got a good start in both motos and 
                                  I went out there and gave it everything I had. 
                                  It felt great to be on the podium in my home 
                                  state, in front of all my family and friends 
                                  that came out here to support me today. I have 
                                  to give a huge thanks to Baldwin Motorsports, 
                                  PEP, and my family and friends for all of their 
                                  support. I also want to thank all of our sponsors 
                                  for helping me come out here and do well. This 
                                  was a good weekend for us and I’m really 
                                  happy to be on the podium,” said Upperman.
                                “It felt great to be on the podium again. 
                                  I worked really hard for it and I want to keep 
                                  that forward momentum going now and hopefully 
                                  be on the podium for the final rounds,” 
                                  Upperman added.
                                Round number eight of the 2012 AMA ATV Motocross 
                                  Championships will head to Unadilla in New Berlin, 
                                  NY on July 14th – 15th where Josh Upperman 
                                  will be going for the podium
