Kevin Bailey the New Voice for
the Extreme Dirt Track Series
Pickerington, OH (3/13/2009)
- Roy Reed, promoter of the Extreme DirtTrack
series revealed this week that longtime Budd’s
Creek race announcer Kevin Bailey will be coming
on board as the announcer for all six rounds of
the 2009 Extreme DirtTrack Series, which gets
underway in just a few short months.
Bailey began announcing races back in 1993 and
is the familiar voice that can be heard at most
of the events hosted at Budd’s Creek in
Mechanicsville, MD and has had his talents called
upon for such prestigious events as the Motocross
of Nations that was held in September of 2007.
Bailey’s additional announcing credits include
the USGP AMA Racing and select District Six and
Seven events as well.
“We are more than excited to have Kevin
as our announcer for the Extreme DirtTrack Series
this year. We were looking for one person who
would be able to announce the entire season and
Kevin does a great job so we are happy that he
will be working with us,” stated Roy Reed
who has been working diligently to freshen the
face of the Extreme DirtTrack Series.
Bailey’s experience in motorsports goes
far beyond just calling out the details of the
races as he is also a former Dirt Track racer
and is a lifetime member of District Seven. Bailey
is also an active member of the Baltimore County
Trail Riders Association where he participates
in many of the events put on by the club.
For those who have not had the pleasure of listening
to Kevin Bailey calling a race, you will get your
chance to hear him first hand at round one of
the 2009 Extreme DirtTrack Series on May 30th
at the Ozark Mountain ATV Raceway in Ava, MO.
