ATVA Extreme Dirt Track ATV TT Racing Nationals

Extreme Dirt Track Racing Heads to Pine Lake this Weekend

ATVA EDT ATV Racing
Ashtabula, PA (7/17/2008) - The 2008 Duro Extreme Dirt Track National series will travel to Ashtabula Ohio and Pine Lake Raceway for round 5 beginning with a Friday practice July 18th. Gates will open Thursday the 17th at 3pm for early arrivals. Heat races will be on Saturday and all Mains will be on Sunday the 20th. Pine Lake Raceway is now in its 39th year of hosting dirt track racing.

The Fischer family will have their customary Saturday evening dance and dinner after the heat races. Also, breakfast will be available on Saturday and Sunday mornings served by a local church group. Concessions on the spectator side of the track will again be hosted by the local volunteer fire department. “These groups have been helping us for many years, and we like to have the community involved in the race” says promoter Bud Fischer.

New for 2008 will be an exhibition class for side –by-side vehicles. “We really don’t know what to expect as far as entries, so we will wait and see what we have to determine the classes. It should be a lot of fun and I think the spectators will love it” says Fischer.

You won’t want to miss any of the action as Pro points leader Harold Goodman will try to continue his streak of victories. Goodman has won rounds two through four after Mitch Reynolds took the opening round. Michael Coburn is second behind Goodman ahead of Brad Riley, Reynolds and Kirby Cooke
