California (2/10/2010) - Travis
Dillion is no stranger to desert racing, and
this past weekend he came out to race! Travis
was aboard what looked to be something out
of the future !! his machine was a 07 HONDA
TRX 450R with Bilstein Shocks huge springs
and reservoir's , it was also equipped with
some awesome Chromoly boxed lower A-Arms that
when I asked him about them he just said they
were his secret weapon , Travis also stated
that his machine was like no other!
When the race got started, Travis got off
the 5th spot and worked his way through the
pack on the 25 mile longcourse, by the time
he came around for his second lap, he had
made up great time and put himself in second
behind Wayne Matlock, and being closely followed
by Matlock teammate Josh Castor.
As the race unfolded after lap 2, Travis
nosed him self into a size able lead followed
by the Matlock team and by the end of the
race put himself into the #1 spot at the finish
.
Later talking with Travis he stated that
it was rough out there and that his quad just
had the best suspension by Bilstein and tires
by Modern Tires that just made it an awesome
to ride !!!!!!!!!
