Tyler, TX (8/12/2011) - It's that
time of year again, when everyone at Zakowski Motorsports
spends countless hours going over every nut and
bolt in preparation of
the annual Heartland 10-Hour Challenge in Carlisle,
IA, where the team
hopes to defend their Pro-4×4 title.
With huge success last year, Zakowski Motorsports
is happy to announce
that they will once again be joining forces with
All Terrain Research as
title sponsor for the grueling event. ATR, an
industry leader in high
quality components, will make sure that these
machines have what it
takes to tackle the ten hour endurance event
"We have been involved with ZMS' program
both on and off the track for a
little over 2 years now and we couldn't be happier
with the
relationship. Everyone involved carries the utmost
professionalism and
we really couldn't be more excited to get back
out there and show that
these riders, combined with our products can get
the job done," stated
Jeremy Bratcher, president of ATR.
Not only will ATR be back, but the team will
remain strong, with title
holders Zac Zakowski and Kevin Trantham returning
from last year. Zac
and Kevin typically follow the GNCC's where Kevin
has gone undefeated
thus far to defend his 4×4 Lites championship
and Zac has been stirring
the pot in 4×4 Open with the top riders.
Completing the team for this
year will be Andrew Langston of Cutler, IN, another
4×4 Open frontrunner.
"I am extremely excited to not only be heading
to the Heartland, but
also having ATR there with us again. We have an
amazing crew with us
this year and I'm happy to be able to add Andrew
to this family. Andrew
is a great rider and I know that he will be fully
committed to keeping
the title in our corner," stated Zakowski.
The race will be taking place on August 20^th
, so stay tuned for the results. Make sure to
stop by the tent to talk with the racers and ATR
reps on hand and remember to keep your fingers
crossed.
