Fourth Annual
AMA Sports Awards Banquet Nominees

- AMA Sports, the amateur and pro-am competition division
of the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA), has
announced that the fourth annual AMA Sports Banquet
will be held Friday evening, November 17, 2006, at Rio
All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This year's AMA Sports Awards Banquet, which will honor
nearly 400 national champions from more than a dozen
motorcycle and ATV disciplines, and AMA Sports Awards
Banquet is just the beginning of a weekend long celebration.
On Satruday, the Maxxis Endurocross will roar to life
at the Orleans Arena, and on Sunday, the AMA Pro Racing
Championship Banquet will also be held at the Rio, with
SPEED TV's Greg White and MX Sport's Tim Cotter sharing
the role of master of ceremonies.
