Breezewood, PA (11/19/2007) - A
few weeks ago, Jason Dunkelberger signed on
with East Coast ATV for 2008, which came as
a surprise for many people. Ever since Dunk
turned Pro, he has been riding for Lost Creek
Cycles sporting the yellow and blue color
scheme, but with Suzuki releasing both Lost
Creek Cycles satellite team racers Dunk and
Haavisto, East Coast ATV capitalized on the
opportunity to sign Dunk.
For 2008, Jason Dunkelberger will be racing
an East Coast ATV Honda TRX450R, which will
be a first for Dunk. For the past few years,
Dunk has raced both the YFZ450 and LTR450,
so it will be interesting to see how well
he does on his new Honda ride.
With snow, sleet, and rain covering most
of Pennsylvania on Sunday, Jason Dunkelberger
headed to Breezewood Proving Grounds for
some seat time on his new ride along with
several other members of the 2008 East Coast
ATV race team. As the days get shorter and
the weather turns colder, the number of
days remaining to practice in the north
are becoming slim, so the nasty weather
didn’t stop Dunk from putting numerous
laps on his new ride, and he appeared to
be right at home on the Honda.
The 2008 race season will not begin till
March, so Jason will have plenty of time
for testing, and he plans on heading south
after the first of the year to dial in everything
before the opening round, and after he gets
in some more seat time and all his plans
for 2008 are finalized ATVriders.com will
