Rok ATV Race Team Announced
Devin Heimes, Mark Madl,
Ross Medlin, Cole Medlin, Samantha Cheetham
Morgantown, WV (1/3/2011) -
Introducing the newly formed Blue Rok Race Team.
The Team will be participating in the upcoming
2011 AMA ATV Motocross Championship Series beginning
on February 26, 2011, at the Aonia Pass motocross
track in Washington, Georgia. The team will consist
of 5 riders which are prominently known in the
racing industry:
Pro Rider: Devin Heimes #57 out of Zephyrhills,
Florida
A 22 year old veteran ATV MX racer, Devin has
been racing The nationals for 5 years. He made
his debut in Pro- Am in 2006 at the WPSA Tour,
Devin finished 8th overall. After 2 years of some
bad luck with injuries, Devin Came back at the
end of 2008 and was able to podium At Loretta’s.
Locally, Devin has captured the SSQSA Pro-Am Championship
in 2009 and captured the Sponsor cup Championship
at Dade City Motocross for 2010.
Pro-Am Rider: Mark Madl #41 Age 17, out
of Kathleen, Florida
Mark is a recent high school honors graduate from
Kathleen, FL. A three year veteran at AMA/ATV
Motocross Championship Series, Mark captured the
Youth Schoolboy Jr. Championship In 2009 along
with AMA Youth Rider of the Year. In 2010, Mark
made a bold move straight to the upper ranks of
The Pro-Am Unlimited and Pro-Am Production classes.
Being The youngest and the rookie in the class,
Mark had strong Top 10 finishes in both classes
for throughout the 2010 year
Production B Rider: Ross Medlin #54 Age
18, out of Bourbon, Missouri
Ross is an 18 year old recent graduate from Sullivan
High School and is attending ITT Tech. Ross finished
4th Place in the Open B Class and 5th in the 4-Stroke
B Class For the 2010 AMA/ATV Motocross Championship
season.
Schoolboy Jr. and Schoolboy Sr. Rider:
Cole Medlin #55 Age 15, out of Bourbon, Missouri
Cole is 15 years old from Bourbon, Missouri attending
Sullivan High School where he is a sophomore.
Cole has been racing In the youth ranks of the
AMA/ATV Motocross Championship Series for 3 years,
he conquered the Schoolboy Sr. Class Championship
and was ranked 2nd in the Schoolboy Jr. Class
For the 2010 season. Cole will be riding in the
Schoolboy Sr. and Schoolboy Jr.
Women’s A/B Class Rider: Samantha
Cheetham #19 Age 16, out of Bradenton, Florida
Samantha is 16 years old attending Braden River
High School as a sophomore. This will be Samantha’s
first year on the 450 at the national level, with
some local championship under her belt in the
Women’s class in Florida she is looking
forward to the challenges that the National competition
will bring.
