The North and South Challenges were created in 2010 to accommodate those unable to travel to the entire 2010 ITP/Moose Racing AMA ATV Motocross Championship. Racers from across the nation battled in six races throughout the season to earn special awards that will be presented at the banquet. To be eligible for the awards, the riders had to attend all six rounds of either the North and/or South Challenge. Any ties for the championship was broken by the best finish at the final round in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
