Tulsa Oklahoma's Snapp Brothers - The Perfect Duo of ATV Racing
Chase & Corey Snapp AMA ATV Motocross

Tulsa, OK (8/23/2010) - When an athlete aspires to pursue the physically demanding profession of an ATV racer, especially on the National level, he must be prepared to dedicate his life, along with his drive, desire and determination, to the sport. Anything less spells failure. There is no medium ground. You either make it, or you don't. Mediocre finishes, outside the top three at the end of a national season, will not turn any ATV racing heads. You become a wannabe, an unknown, a "Who?" in a heartbeat.

The Snapp brothers, Chase and Corey Snapp, of Tulsa, Oklahoma do not fit into this latter category. Over the past few years, after honing their skills on the regional ATV racing circuit in and around their home state, Tulsa's Snapp brothers have been turning heads and building a solid reputation for themselves.

In 2009, competing in the AMA-ATV Motocross Championship, the premier ATV motocross series in the U.S., both Chase and Corey finished their inaugural season with top five and top three finishes in the overall rankings. When the 2010 season rolled around, they upped their racing game to a point that everyone on the national scene knew who the Snapp brothers were and that, if you were a competitor, you would have to deal with their aggressive style of racing at each and every event. They were out to win, nothing less was acceptable.

In 2010, competing in the Pro/Am Production class, the final stepping stone class before entering the Pro ranks, Chase Snapp kicked off the 2010 National Motocross season with a win at the opening round. From that point on, Snapp was the man to beat in the class. When the eleven round season concluded in mid-August, Chase found himself on the podium in the overall series' points standings with the National Championship.

He accumulated five wins and three other top three event finishes to win the class title by eight points. A slight margin, but a notable accomplishment when one considers he fought off the attacks of thirty six of the nation's top ATV racers.

Chase also competed in the Pro/Am Unlimited class, finishing second overall on the season with one win to his credit. The Unlimited class, run on Saturday preceding Sunday's prime race events, is utilized by many Pro hopefuls as a test and tune class to prepare themselves for the Pro/Am Production class which is run as the opening race for the Pro program during an event's prime time Sunday races.

Brother Corey Snapp chose to continue his rise to the top by competing in the Production A class, a class ranking just below the two Pro/Am classes. With over sixty of the nation's top up-and-comers competing in the class, the competiton levels during the 2010 National season esculated to lap by lap challenges for those looking to make a name for themselves before jumping into the Pro/Am ranks.

Corey, with three wins to his credit and three other podium finishes, managed to break into the top three in the overall series's standings when the season wound down at the infamous track laid out by Racer Productions at Loretta Lynn's Dude Ranch in Tennessee.

Chase's performance in the Pro/Am ranks in 2010 has put him at the forefront of the "One to be watched" competitors who are slated to move into the Pro ranks in 2011. Corey's performance, noting the fact that he finished a meager three points out of second in the overall Production A rankings, put his name in the spotlight as one of the "Racers to be dealt with" in the Pro/Am classes when the National Motocross season kicks off once again in late March of 2011.
