Josh Creamer Keeps ATV MX Lead Going into Muddy Creek National
AMA ATV Motocross Nationals - Round 7 - Muddy Creek - June 19-20, 2010

Millville, MN (6/17/2010) - The Toyota of Kingsport ATV Southern Nationals are headed to Muddy Creek Raceway in Blountville, Tennessee this weekend for Round 7 of the 2010 ITP/Moose Racing AMA ATV Motocross Championship.

Going into this event, Rockstar Makita Suzuki's Josh Creamer continues to lead the field, stretching his lead to 15 points over his teammate and two-time Defending Champion, Dustin Wimmer, who maintains 2nd in the chase. Team Can-Am Motoworks is hoping to continue their success at Muddy Creek, coming on the heels of both teammates Chad Wienen and John Natalie earning podium positions last weekend at Spring Creek. Team Rockstar Makita Suzuki has been use to success over the years, with Wimmer earning them the Championship two years running and seeming unbeatable. But this season, Wimmer has a competitor and rival in new teammate Creamer, who has won four of the six rounds so far this season.

As Wimmer fights for another win, the Can-Am Motoworks teammates are making up much needed points by landing on the podium last weekend. Teammates John Natalie and Chad Wienen both say they are ready to go after Creamer for the win this weekend in Blountville, TN.

The event takes place at the legendary Muddy Creek Raceway in Blountville, TN was established in the 1970's. Since then, it was been featured in Sports Illustrated, Racer X Illustrated, Motocross Action, Dirt Bike, ATV Sport, and Dirt Wheels magazines. Muddy Creek Raceway sits in the middle of a Tennessee Valley. The elevation changes provide a great track for spectators and racers alike. Made up mostly of large table tops and doubles, the track is the perfect mix of technical obstacles and wide open straight-aways.

Tickets on Sunday are $15 for fans ($10 for ages 5-11), and admission includes full pro pit access, and an autograph session. The pro class will feature two 20-minute races on Sunday, taking place at noon and 3 p.m., with the combined scores of both races determining the overall winner.

The pro riders will run as part of a full schedule of amateur racing, including classes for Youth, Women and veteran riders. Amateurs will practice on Friday and race on Saturday and Sunday. Pros will practice on Saturday and race on Sunday. To get to the track, take Highway 60; turn right onto County Road 11 to the track entrance. For more information, head to www.atvmotocross.com
