Dustin Wimmer Regains ATV MX Lead Going into Steel City
AMA ATV Motocross Nationals - Round 5- Steel City - May 29-30, 2010

Delmont, PA (5/27/2010) - The 2010 ITP/Moose Racing AMA ATV Motocross Championship roars into Steel City just as defending champion Dustin Wimmer has regained the points lead. Heading into Round 5, this season's competition has taken an aggressive turn between the top runners. The Rockstar/Makita/Suzuki teammates Wimmer and Josh Creamer continue to lead, but are being pressured by Round 4 winner, Baldwin Motorsports/PEP's Josh Upperman and Motoworks/Can-Am's John Natalie and Chad Wienen.

Upperman may be the man to beat this weekend as the ATV Stampede heads to Delmont, PA. Coming off of his win at Round 4, the Ohio native will make a short drive to Steel City, the closest event to his home. He is no stranger to success at this event, where he finished on the podium last year. Pennsylvania native John Natalie is also hoping to take a little home track advantage after more bad luck at the last round. Team Motoworks Can-Am riders Natalie and Chad Wienen have been battling mechanical failures as well as two crashes that have involved both riders. Both riders need a successful run at Steel City in order to continue to chase the championship.

The Steel City track sits at the center of a valley, utilizing the natural terrain and creating one of the best tracks on the circuit for spectators. The track consists of long up-hill and downhill straight-aways, with doubles, triples, and table tops. The facility features an easily accessible Pro paddock and vendor's area.

Tickets on Sunday are $15 for fans ($10 for ages 5-11), and admission includes full pro pit access, and an autograph session.

The pro class will feature two 20-minute races on Sunday, taking place at noon and 3 p.m., with the combined scores of both races determining the overall winner.

The pro riders will run as part of a full schedule of amateur racing, including classes for Youth, Women and veteran riders. Amateurs will practice on Friday and race on Saturday and Sunday. Pros will practice on Saturday and race on Sunday.

To get to Steel City, take Route 66 North; turn right onto Story Road, then follow signs .5 miles to the track. For more information, head to www.steelcitymx.com
