Walnut, IL (4/28/2009) -
Dustin Wimmer suffered a shoulder injury while
practicing in Georgia this past sunday. A
snapped axle sent Wimmer over the handlebars
and into the dirt shoulder first. The impact
dislocated his shoulder injuring his rotor
cuff and fracturing the ball socket of his
arm. Wimmer will be out for about 6 weeks
for recovery.
This is a truly unfortunate event for Wimmer
as he is the current AMA Pro ATV points leader
having won 3 of the 4 races so far. We wish
Dustin a speedy recovery so he can get back
on the podium.
Please check back soon for an official press
release from Suzuki.
