Brant Russell Memorial Service to be Held This Friday
Motorcycle & ATV Industry's Brant Russell Remembered

Brant Russell
Acorn Wood's Brant Russell
Huntington Beach, CA (6/15/2011) - The motorcycle industry, and the world as a whole, lost a good one on June 4th, when Brant Russell, 55, passed away suddenly on Catalina Island. He had no known health issues, but went quickly and quietly. Brant had a long colorful history in the national motorcycle / ATV industry. He spent eleven years as the Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Yoshimura R&D and was involved with many racers and teams starting with Jeremy McGrath in 1996. For the last few years, Brant worked at Acorn Woods Communications, a public relations firm in Huntington Beach, California, with his partner Owen Provence.

He will be best remembered for his quick wit, playful manner and unassuming intelligence. Brant is survived by his mother - Mimi Russell, his brother Steve, and his family - Desiree, Conner, Danielle and Damon Russell. Services will be held at the Huntington Beach Masonic Lodge, 601 Palm Avenue on Friday, June 17th at 6:30 PM. Overflow parking is available at Hope Chapel and Advantage Funeral on Lake Street. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Joseph's hospital through this link - http://sjo.org/BrantRussell.
