88 Live To Ride Now
a Distributor of Eject - Helmet Removal System
Sugar Grove, PA (4/9/2010) -
88 Live to Ride is proud to announce that we are
now an official distributor for the Eject Helmet
Removal System. We will have units available at
the track through the Mobile Medical Unit and
also online at our website www.88livetoride.com.
The units sell for an affordable $60, and they
have rapidly become a standard piece of saftey
equipment in the pro dirtbike motocross industry.
88 Live to Ride will have an Eject EMS kit available
for use at each track
if the local ambulance service or track owner
does not have one.
If you have not yet heard of the Eject Helmet
Removal System, here is some information about
this revolutionary system.

|
With
the Eject system in place, EMT and Medical
staff will know the downed rider is equipped
with it because of the indicator stickers
on the rider's helmet. Within 25 seconds,
the soft, Co2 controlled airbag gently lifts
the helmet from the injured rider |
“The Eject Helmet Removal System is the
only tool that can quickly and safely remove a
crash victim’s helmet, where head or neck
injury is suspected. It does so without adding
any pressure or traction to the neck or spine
which can cause secondary spinal injuries to the
downed rider/driver.”
“Shock Doctor™ has established
a free online EMT training program that will register
EMTs when the Eject Training course has been completed.
The EMTs can then print a certificate verifying
their successful completion of the course. Shock
Doctor is working directly with several major
medical equipment distributors, and attending
numerous trade events, to ensure that the Eject
First Responder units are available to the EMS
industry; these units will also be available to
track owners. Please contact 1-877-40-EJECT for
more information.” For more information,

About 88 Live To Ride:
The support of family, friends and the racing
community when Matt, Debi’s son, died in
a racing accident led to the decision to form
a corporation, 88 Live to Ride, Inc., to further
expand on needs, seen as necessary, in the sport
of ATV racing. The mission of 88 Live to Ride,
Inc. is to advocate and support the protection,
education and safety of riders involved in ATV
racing events. Thru fundraising events held in
2005 the corporation was able to purchase a 20’
Vintage trailer to use as its medical unit along
with a Yamaha generator to supply power to it.
Doc Ragon uses the medical trailer to provide
“walking wounded” care, free of charge,
to the racers; their families and the spectators
of the sport we all love. Also in 2005, Yamaha
Motor Corporation stepped up to the plate and
provided 88 Live to Ride with a Limited Edition
Rhino to be used as their official pit vehicle
at race events.
The Board of 88 Live to Ride,
Inc. consists of Debi Bartosek, Jorge Cuartas,
Cindi Hart and Beth Laurine. The IRS officially
granted the corporation its 501(c)(3) tax exempt
status and it is now recognized as a Public Charity.
