Josh Row Claims WORCS Points Lead with Sand Hollow Win
Josh Row Takes First WORCS Pro ATV Win

Hurricane, UT (4/17/2014) - It was an exciting and rewarding weekend for 417 Motorsport’s Josh Row as he took home his first-ever WORCS Pro ATV win in round four of the 2014 season at Sand Hollow, which also boosted Row into the WORCS Championship points lead.

Josh Row claimed his first WORCS Racing Pro Career win at Sand Hollow

The sandy and rough course took its toll on many riders throughout the day, but courses like Sand Hollow is where Josh Row thrives. “I grew up riding and racing in the sand. It’s a little different without paddle tires, but when it gets rough like it did, that’s what I really like it,” said Row excitedly.

Maxxis Tire’s Josh Row came on strong as he got a good start and led from the first lap to the finish and recorded the fastest lap of the race with a time of 11:16.9 in lap two.  “I knew the guys with the paddles were going to get the jump on me on the line, but I have a lot of experience with riding in the sand, I was able to take some different lines and get around everyone and put in some solid fast laps. At the first round in Taft, I led for most of the race and then Beau Baron passed me toward the end. Because of that, it was in the back of my mind the whole time that he was coming for me again, until I came around a corner about halfway through and saw him sitting on the side of the track. Then I was able to calm down a bit and just stay focused on my race,” Row explained.

Row had the best race of his career and gives a lot of the credit to his set up. “A lot of guys were running paddles and other types of sand tires, but my Maxxis tires worked awesome. I was able to point my quad in the direction I wanted and it went with no problems. My Roll Design components and Elka shocks were also spot on for this race,” said Row.

“It has been a dream of mine since I started racing the WORCS series to take home a win like this, and thanks to all of my sponsors and all of the support I get, I was able to make that happen,” stated Row.
