2009 Kawasaki Bayou 250 Utility ATV's

Introduction

Whether it’s tasked with play or work, it’s a sure thing the tough and economical Kawasaki’s Bayou® 250 ATV will excel at the job. Its long-lasting, electric-start four-stroke engine, five-speed transmission and steel cargo racks make the Bayou 250 synonymous with four wheel value.

Affordable and easy to operate, the Bayou 250 features a trail ready independent A-arm front suspension and a semi-independent multi-link rear suspension. This design equals a smooth, compliant ride yet none of the complexity and maintenance requirements of a fully independent design.

Additional features include triple drum brakes, hitch bracket, easy-to-read fuel gauge and a 12-volt accessory connector to provide quick and easy power to your electrical accessories. Plus, the steel cargo racks can handle a combined weight of 110 pounds and it can tow 450 pounds. Owners can increase the versatility of their Bayou ATV via the extensive line of Authentic Kawasaki Accessories, available through Kawasaki dealers.

As with all off-highway vehicle recreation, Kawasaki encourages ATV riders to ride responsibly and to respect the environment. Kawasaki will pay first-time buyers of a new Kawasaki ATV $100 for completing an ATV rider safety course conducted by the ATV Safety Institute (ASI). Interested consumers can call ASI toll-free at 800-887-2887.
