Newnan, GA (1/21/2015) - Yamaha recently invited us out to Newnan, GA to take a tour of their dedicated state-of-the-art ATV & SxS manufacturing facility.  In addition to getting an exclusive inside look at the pristine production facility, Yamaha also surprised us with an all-new SxS – the 2016 Yamaha Wolverine R-Spec, which would be soon hitting the Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation (YMMC) assembly line in Newnan, Georgia.

As one of the biggest ATV & SxS manufactures in the world, Yamaha will be expanding its SxS vehicle lineup with the Yamaha Wolverine and it will create even more U.S. based jobs at YMCC. The 2016 Yamaha Wolverine will join the rest of the Yamaha ATV and SxS vehicle line up to be manufactured in the United States at YMMC in Newnan, GA including the Yamaha Raptor 700, Yamaha YFZ450R, Yamaha Grizzly 550, Yamaha Grizzly 700, Yamaha Viking 700, Yamaha Viking VI.

Founded in 1986, YMMC Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation has a long history of manufacturing Yamaha vehicles as well as supplying jobs to the United States economy. Approximately 30,000 jobs have been created directly or indirectly in the U.S. through its Yamaha’s corporate offices, manufacturing facilities, field staff, distribution centers, suppliers, vendors and dealer partners directly.

There are also approximately 2,040 people that Yamaha directly employs alone in the state of Georgia. 1,473 of those people Yamaha directly employs at the YMMC factory in Newnan, Georgia. It is estimated that Yamaha will add an additional 150 jobs at the YMMC factory in 2015 with the addition of the new Yamaha Wolverine.
