Costa Meas, CA (10/28/2010) - The
12th annual Sand Sports Super show saw over three
hundred exhibitors and thousands of attendees visit
the Orange County Fairgrounds for three days of
the most tricked out, modified sand toys around.
Considering Glamis, the sand toy capital of the
world, is only a few short ours away, southern California
is a hot bed of sand addicts and many attendees
came from all over the world to see what vendors
were rolling off the line for the upcoming dune
season.
While many attendees complained that vendor attendance
was down the show still provided a wide array
of products from some of the biggest names in
UTV’s, ATV’s and sand cars. Visitors
could also score some mega deals on apparel, tires
and countless other goodies to get their machine
outfitted just in time for duning season.

Todd's
Custom Billet would be on hand for the 12th
running of the Sand Sports Super Show with
their custom built RZR 4 which seats 6 adults
comfortably! |
UTV’s definitely took the award for largest
presence. Countless fabrication and accessory
companies like Todd’s Custom Billet and
Magnum Offroad were on hand with more bling than
the red carpet on Grammy night. Todd’s Custom
Billet has taken the new Polaris Rzr 4 to a whole
new level by creating the Goliath upgrade kit.
The Goliath replaces the standard rear storage
area with an additional two seats so the five
or six person family can still make their way
around the dunes together.
Another major player in the UTV market on hand
was Fabtech. While their display was limited,
offering just a few of their custom bumpers, Fabtech
is a well known name in the industry for its long
travel front ends and custom accessories.

King
Off-Road Suspension caters to the UTV crowd
with their custom suspension components
available for nearly ever make & model |
Speaking of long travel, notable suspension builder King Offroad was on hand with
their full line of UTV shocks. King has been a major
player in the offroad world for some time and has
brought their experience in building championship
winning suspension to the UTV market. We even spied
a long travel equipped Banshee outfitted with King
Suspension components. When we spoke with King they
offered no plans of jumping into the ATV market
and said this was just a one off set built by request
for a customer. Another new face in the UTV
scene is Ruesch Performance UTV’s. Ruesch
is taking a bold leap into the UTV market and
claims to offer the most powerful power plant
in the business with their German Engineered Weber
twin cylinder motors. The power plant comes in
both 80 and 150 horsepower configurations and
the company offers countless other options for
customizing your UTV to make it one of a kind.

of attention from the spectators

Ruesch
outfits their high-performance UTV's with
Elka Suspension to keep a smooth ride! |
Ruesch has worked with countless industry names
like Pro Armor, Fox Shox, Elka, Warn and many
others to offer their UTV with some of the best
and most proven products on the market. Their
Ruesch XRL is the only production UTV on the market
with long travel suspension offering 17 inches
of travel in the front and 15.5 in the rear, from
the factory.
